Challenge
Teabloom sells through its own Magento store and a growing list of marketplaces. Each new channel brought its own listings, its own stock figures and its own order flow. Without one owner for the technical side, every addition meant more manual work and more chances to sell stock that was already gone. Wholesale buyers needed something different again: company accounts, their own prices and a checkout that fits how businesses order.
Approach
Since 2020 I have worked as Teabloom’s fractional solution architect and own the technical roadmap. I decide what gets built, in which order, and how each piece connects to the rest.
The first priority was the multi-channel architecture. The store, Amazon FBA, Etsy, Walmart, TikTok Shop, eBay and Faire now draw from one catalog and one inventory. GeekSeller and Finale Inventory connect the catalog and inventory to those channels. I designed the data flow between them so each channel has a clear source of truth and new channels can be added one at a time.
For wholesale I architected and implemented a dedicated B2B site on Adobe Commerce. It runs separately from the retail store and covers company accounts, tiered pricing, a B2B catalog and checkout flows built for repeat business orders.
Result
Seven sales channels run from a single catalog and inventory, and wholesale customers order through their own site with their own terms. The roadmap has one owner who knows the whole system, so decisions about new channels, tools or features are made against the full picture rather than one integration at a time. The engagement has continued for more than five years.
